About the role

As a Senior People Operations Specialist, who will be our first HR person in the Brazilian office, you will foster a supportive and efficient environment, ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with labor laws. This role is key to accurate payroll, reliable HR systems, smooth administration, and effective office management. You will set up the office, prepare the legal entity for hiring, and create a seamless HR experience to support a productive workplace culture.

Your missions

  • Designing, maintaining, adapting, and conducting comprehensive onboarding for new employees to ensure a smooth integration into the company
  • Day-to-day administrative tasks such as data input, answering questions from employees, HRBPs, and TA Partners, payroll, and various kinds of reporting
  • Preparing the legal entity for hiring, including ensuring all legal requirements and documentation are in place, and setting up payroll, benefits, and other necessary HR systems.
  • Adapting HQ core processes to our Brazilian operations and providing continued feedback to the People team towards harmonizing the two locations acting as one company.
  • Planning and coordinating office events to enhance team engagement and morale.
  • Office management tasks such as organizing office operations, managing office supplies, and ensuring the office environment is efficient and well-maintained.
  • Revisiting core processes periodically and improving them through automation and simplification.
  • Ensuring data accuracy in all relevant systems by conducting regular data audits.
  • Implementing and/or maintaining automated and well-documented processes.
  • Participate in Company Wide People Projects

    Your profile

    • Bachelor's/Master's in HR, Employee Relations, Psychology, or a similar discipline preferred (or equivalent experience).
    • Proven track record of success as a People Operations or equivalent role within at least 1 successful software company (ideally SaaS, B2B) that scaled fast over 2+ years
    • You possess a deep understanding of Brazilian employment legislation, payroll practices, and HR operations.
    • Proven kick-starter skills: Ability to start with a fresh canvas, execute tasks quickly, and balance between “better done than perfect” and “perfect” as required.
    • Customer-driven: Strong passion for understanding internal customer needs, anticipating them, and delivering effective solutions.
    • Driving and Coaching capability, you are able to operate as the key HR contact for the leaders, providing coaching and guidance across the employee lifecycle
    • You are outcomes-driven with an extremely analytical & data-driven DNA.
    • You can effectively navigate complex challenges and provide practical solutions.
    • Native Portuguese speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
