The Role: The Service Desk Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the seamless operation of our IT services. As the frontline IT liaison, this global position will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our IT infrastructure, providing rapid response to employee needs, and bolstering our worldwide operational excellence.
What you'll do:
- Deliver expedient technical support globally, primarily focusing on the EMEA region.
- Efficiently manage and respond to service requests via our advanced ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve an array of technical hardware and software issues.
- Prioritize incidents and requests in alignment with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of end-user devices, software, and hardware.
- Address Tier 1 network and connectivity issues within office environments.
- Adhere to standardized IT processes, meticulously log all interactions, and maintain helpdesk software.
- Support the IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Offer technical assistance for video conferencing, audio/visual equipment, and organizational events.
- Keep IT inventory records precise and current, assuring asset management accuracy.
What you have:
- A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in an IT Support or Help Desk capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- A highly customer-centric mindset with experience in delivering excellent service.
- Hands-on experience with macOS and Windows OS environments and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivation with the capacity to operate autonomously while adhering to guidelines and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts in clear terms.
- A collaborative team-oriented attitude, paired with adequate planning and organizational skills.
- Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

- Familiarity with G-Suite, Okta, Slack, Intune/Kandji.
