Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 to 10 years of experience in production management and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in using production planning and control software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Manage and oversee the overall production processes, ensuring adherence to production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to optimize production efficiency and minimize costs.
- Monitor production metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and achieve production goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including occupational health and safety.
- Train, coach, and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor and control production budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Ensure effective inventory management and maintain accurate production records.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in production technology, and recommend and implement new processes or equipment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures related to production.
