The Role and Team
Medallia is seeking a dynamic, curious and motivated Human Resources Associate. This highly collaborative role will be part of our global HR Business Partner team, working with early to mid-career Medallians and managers across the business. In this role, you will support on-site and remote teams in the greater EMEA & APAC region. You will be supporting the HRBP EMEA & APAC Team on a day-to-day basis.
This hybrid opportunity is a full-time role, and is based in the London area.
Responsibilities
- Provide support services for employee life-cycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers and employment documentation ensuring a high degree of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of company policies and local employment law to provide appropriate guidance to employees and managers.
- Respond in a timely manner to inquiries regarding company policies and programs; elevates or directs questions to other teams, as appropriate.
- Partner with other People and Culture functional areas to support and ensure proper execution of programs and projects.
- Support New Hire Orientation and on-boarding activities, conduct exit interviews, analyze employee data, and support performance management activities.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide performance management coaching to managers.
- Monitor dashboards and prepare reporting to analyze data for trends and patterns, present key information for potential development of future programs.
- Manage priorities and effectively adjust based on volume and business necessity; engaging with managers for guidance or approvals.
- Leverage comprehensive systems management of Medallia’s HRIS, Workday, for administration of employee life cycle events, best-practice audits (probation, annual leave) and regional reporting.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of combined HR experience (i.e. HR business partnership, operations, compensation programs, talent acquisition or similar)
- Ability to work in our London office at least twice a week
- Degree with a focus in HR or Business, or commensurate experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities in English, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-starter and process-driven, always looking for way to optimize
- Able to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action; accuracy and attention to detail are key
- Previous experience in project management, process development, analysis and problem solving
