The Role and Team

This role will be a crucial position on our Digital Experience team, developing and building outstanding web experiences in WordPress.

We are looking for an experienced developer responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to develop flexible web components and pages, new features and functionality, and improve and optimize website performance to drive engagement and conversion through a high-quality web experience. This role will own the development, design, QA, and project management for Medallia’s web properties.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate skills in coding using creativity and innovation, the ability to handle multiple timeline-based projects and thrive in a high-pressure environment.


Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize web pages and amazing web experiences by developing and implementing front-end web code to design/code standards in clean, semantic code.
  • Manage daily operational support, and front-end and back-end architecture of Medallia web properties.
  • Support demand, product, and brand marketing in ongoing website management, upgrades, and ongoing testing of user experience and delivery of key performance metrics.
  • Assist in conducting testing, including functional and non-functional testing, ensuring Medallia’s web properties are of the highest quality.
  • Support technical SEO optimization to improve organic search results.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of corporate website management, SEO and front-end development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with WordPress, ACF Pro, HTML/CSS3 and Javascript, Visual Studio Code, GitHub, AWS, and responsive web design.
  • Demonstrated experience in HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with GSAP, LESS/SASS, JSON, and REST API.

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical eye for detail.
