The Role and Team:

As part of the Product Marketing, Customer Advocacy, and Analyst Relations team at Medallia, you will make a big impact for our customers and our company’s growth. Working closely with marketing, sales, and product teams, you will contribute to the go-to-market strategy for product/feature/solution launches, marketing programs, sales enablement, competitor intelligence, and pipeline support. You are collaborative in nature, a true team player, that builds strong cross-functional relationships. You’re used to juggling multiple projects at once and working with tight deadlines. You are passionate about customer and employee experience.


Responsibilities

  • Develop positioning, messaging and content that articulates the value proposition for Medallia capabilities, clearly articulating our differentiation in the marketplace.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives for quarterly releases, driving Medallia’s go-to-market strategy for platform enhancements.
  • Educate and enable Medallia’s Sales and Services teams, along with strategic partners, to be able to confidently communicate the value and competitive differentiation of Medallia.
  • Educate and enable Medallia customers and users on the value of our platform.
  • Be a Medallia champion. Develop marketing assets and support other sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Be an excellent communicator who can engage and influence internal leaders and teams across functions as well as external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience for a SaaS product or platform
  • Demonstrated storytelling experience taking complex products to tell a compelling and succinct story
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a fast-paced and sales-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record of marketing technical innovations to users and buyers and creating narratives to position and sell products in compelling ways
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of go-to-market strategies and methodologies
  • Ability to prioritize and differentiate what matters from the noise, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Ability to identify risks, resolve issues, and communicate with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated initiative and follow-through managing concurrent projects
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $133,000 - $206,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
