About the Role:

You will be working on a fixed-term, 1 year contract basis covering our employee going on maternity leave. As an experienced Project Manager, you will be accountable for helping our clients understand the key steps in a Duco project delivery journey, planning with their team and ours, and managing the execution of projects that create incredible outcomes. You will be consultative in your approach, able to work with stakeholders who might be unfamiliar with a project of this type. Of course, you will also be well organised and a great communicator. More often than not, you will be managing multiple concurrent projects with multiple customers. You will relish the opportunity to contribute to capability improvement in a small but fast growing startup embedded services business.

What you will be working on:

  • Successful delivery of Professional Services projects, including ensuring well defined requirements, resourcing and planning, stakeholder management and coordination.
  • Preparing and presenting key project documents (e.g. plans, logs, reports), and communication with internal and external teams.
  • Being a liaison between the client and internal departments on ongoing project issues.
  • Effectively managing change and variation to projects, working with engagement managers and sales to drive resolution.
  • Facilitate continuous feedback loops and lessons learned, contributing to the continuous improvement of internal documentation and processes.
  • Conduct Post Delivery Reviews based on value drivers, engaging the Client on quantifying the value realised through the successful delivery of the project, and facilitating the initiation of case studies with Marketing.

You'll be working with the Head of Professional Services, Professional Services managers and consultants based in the UK, US, and Poland, and terrific colleagues across Sales, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience managing technical projects involving the deployment, and configuration of software, particularly SaaS solutions, and the migration of data and business processes between systems.
  • A strong understanding of Project Management methodologies, and how / when to deploy them in a pragmatic way that adds value, balancing control and agility. Ideally you will be a certified practitioner in one or more of recognised methodologies.
  • Demonstrable skills in organisation, requirements gathering, planning, communications (including presentation skills, diplomacy, and influencing), strong stakeholder management and reporting.
  • A good understanding of how to use systematic approaches to solving project related problems, and know how and when to ask for help to solve the key problem.
  • A good understanding of the Financial Services industry, its challenges and its typical technical, process and change governance landscape. Ideally you have some familiarity with the implementation of SaaS or PaaS products and / or financial services middle and back office technical projects.
  • Working knowledge of commercial constructs, contract and SOW creation and professional services sales cycles.
  • Familiarity of working within a product / technology company or, if working in pure professional services, working tightly and over a period of time in deploying partner solutions to end customers
  • Experience of delivering projects with budgets of up to $750k to successful outcomes within agreed scope, budget and timeframe.

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Experience in project managing the implementation of complex reconciliation systems, such as TLM or iMatch.
