About The Role
At Duco, we want to make managing mission-critical data easy.

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team and help push our innovation agenda forward. Your job will be to build great software together with our engineering teams, deliver on our product strategy around data automation, and bring values to our clients mainly in financial services.

Product Owners at Duco are an integral part of our cross functional product engineering teams. By representing our customers, you will help ensure that our teams build the best products that solve their problems and create the most value for Duco.


What you will be working on:

  • Translating product goals and business requirements into well-defined user stories and specifications so they are clearly understood
  • Leading cooperation with engineers in your squads to implement and deliver
  • Driving the cross-functional effort to ensure top-quality delivery
  • Maximizing the value of delivered features and solutions
  • Working closely with product managers to understand and execute product strategy
  • Defining, prioritizing, and managing product backlogs together with product managers and engineering team leaders, balancing between different objectives, and making trade-off decisions to ensure goals and strategy are delivered
  • Engaging with our customers and end users to understand their business needs and help them understand how Duco solves their problems
  • Conducting research and business analysis on high-level requirements to ensure that features delivered fit client requirements and are well adapted
  • Providing insight, guidance, and best practices to stakeholders across the company
  • Playing an advisor role for our sales and account management team to explain how our products solve our client's problems

Ideally, you will have

  • 7+ years of experience working with software engineering teams in roles such as engineer, product owner, and business analyst.
  • Track record of delivering enterprise software to internal or external customers
  • Extensive experience in incorporating user needs, business needs, and technical inputs into the solution design and product development process
  • Experience in a financial services sector Understanding of capital markets operations such as transaction lifecycle management
  • Understanding of levels of standards expected in enterprise software, such as requirements about an audit, compliance, governance, and monitoring.
  • Well-versed in various Agile methodologies
  • Experienced in direct customer engagement
  • An excellent communicator who can unite people behind an idea or task (English C2 level)
  • Passion about providing the best solution to customers to solve their problems and make their lives easier
  • Product experience working within an enterprise SaaS environment is a huge plus
  • Previous engineering (development or testing) experience is a plus
