About the Role:

Join us for a delicious adventure! Fever is looking for an Assistant General Manager to assist in the operations of Candytopia! – an immersive indoor experience in Scottsdale Arizona. This is a part-time, seasonal position expected to run mid-July 2024 to early January 2025.

As our AGM, you’ll help bring to life the imaginative candy wonderland of Candytopia – assisting the GM to lead our team of Brand Ambassadors in welcoming guests with high energy, big smiles, and tasty treats.

Responsibilities include:

• Under the direction of the General Manager, execute day-to-day Candytopia! operations, establishing and maintaining a positive, high energy work environment.
• On-site management and operations of the experience, located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
• Fill in for General Manager in times of absence.
• Provide break coverage for Candytopia Brand Ambassador and Retail team members.
• Follow the processes for a smooth daily run of the experience and continuous maintenance of the experience standards.
• Work with the General Manager to draft work schedules / onboard new team members, develop, and manage a system for storage and inventory of retail stock and supplies and send replenishment requests as needed.
• Effectively comm unicate to all Guests, Candytopia team members, & contracted vendors.
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the venue, especially in all COVID-related safety procedures.
• Handle any problems/special requests from guests.
• Handle guestlist and assist with guests check-in procedures.
• Assist with daily and weekly reporting on issues to management.

Schedule & Pay:

The contract will run approximately 6 months, starting in late June and running through the first weekend of January 2025. The experience is expected to operate five days a week afternoons/evenings with longer hours on Saturdays. The experience will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The schedule could vary based on ticket sales.

Rate: Will be discussed during the interviewing process.

Required Skills:

• You have 1+ year of management team experience for an experiential pop-up event, amusement park, hospitality, or retail establishment with high foot traffic.
• Must have experience in using Google Drive and the Google suite of applications including Sheets, Word, Google Meetings.
• You are internally motivated with a high energy profile.
• You are a strong leader used to engaging with the public and managing staff.
• You can work autonomously and at your initiative
• You have excellent communication skills
• Exceptional observation skills.
• You know how to plan your own time appropriately to maximize business performance
• You are legally allowed to work in the US
• You are based in the Greater Scottsdale area
