ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Created within and on park & forest grounds, this is an immersive lighting & sound experience geared towards a fan-base of all ages. This beloved IP experience begins at dusk and runs every (15)-minutes through the evening hours. From concept to creative, this event includes stylized photo opportunities, themed food & drink, and an opportunity to peruse merchandise in a large-scale retail tent.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Event Supervisor role is pivotal to the successful delivery of our event in Leesburg, VA and will manage the overall organization, planning and staffing for front-of-house and guest services operations to ensure a world class delivery and exceptional customer service.
Based in Leesburg, the Event Supervisor will sit within the local Site Management Team and report directly to the Event Manager and the Global Operations Manager. Working with a team of 15-20 each night, the Event Supervisor will lead local decisions in regard to all guest related services and must be able to follow procedures set out by the Global team.
LOCATION / DATES
- Pre-Production/Load In Phase - Remote training, and beginning full time on site work on October 14th (approximately 2 weeks before the event opens).
- Operational Phase – Working onsite from opening on October 26 until mid-February. Approximately five days per week and hours are typically 14:00 – 23:30
REMUNERATION
$350/day or based on experience
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the overall organization, planning and staffing for front-of-house operations to ensure a successful event and positive guest experience
- Coordinate with local production team for the successful execution of the events to ensure a positive guest experience
- Overall control of the site in the event of adverse weather conditions- ensuring all wind management and safety plans are adhered to
- Responsible for pre-show and post-show checklists
- Be in an event control position and communicate with all departments
- Management of all related work and facilities– e.g. toilets, cleaners, bins
- Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures across all functions, including but not limited to; Security, Medical, Car Parking, Guest Experience, Accessibility and Staffing
- Validate employee schedules and time sheets.
- Resolve customer complaints, concerns & general needs.
- Work with Fever Ops On-site Coordinators regarding all ticketing operations and the set up of the POS systems at each point of sale
- Maintain & manage the on-site equipment, ensuring all health & safety standards are followed
- Liaising with the local labor providing company for staff assigned to FOH and Retail Operations
- Communicating with vendors to ensure smooth operations (custodian, security, F&B, Merch operator, etc)
- Maintain and encourage staff performance and growth over the course of the experience
- Crew/Staff welfare- ensure shift patterns are running smoothly & breaks are implemented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have experience in using Google Drive and the Google suite of applications including Sheets, Word, Google Meetings.
- At least three years previous experience managing large outdoor festivals, Illumination trails or outdoor experiential events.
- Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in a fully immersive, in-world experience
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and lead others while holding them accountable for results
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to work cross functionally with all levels and teams
- Ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Must have people management and interpersonal skills.

- Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Current First-Aid certification is a plus.
- Visa/permits - The candidate must be able to work in the United States and achieve one of the
