ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you looking to bring your legal expertise and experience in commercial law and transactions to a world-class In-House Legal Team?
We are looking for a driven and ambitious lawyer to join our international Legal Team, with a focus on supporting Fever’s global commercial contracting and transaction capability. If you're a professional seeking to elevate your career at a fast-growing, tech-driven entertainment company, we'd love to hear from you!
As Legal Counsel, Commercial General, you will have diverse legal skills and a great gut instinct in negotiating, reviewing and finalising commercial contracts, working as a business partner with regional business leads to enable Fever’s continued growth as a leading entertainment platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to broaden their legal expertise and take ownership of important legal projects while contributing to Fever's mission and vision.
This role will entail:
- Drafting / revising key commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP submission documentation and similar legal documents
- Supporting commercial teams in the negotiation of deals and documents
- Researching legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritise and manage legal matters
- Assisting and participating in knowledge management and operational excellence within Legal, including by identifying the need for and participating in preparation of templates, guides, processes and similar documents and tools
- Participating in ongoing compliance functions and product advice as required
- Upskilling, support, and growth of other team members
In order to be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a practising lawyer with 6 years of post-qualification experience working in a Spanish-speaking jurisdiction.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English is essential, with proficiency in an additional language a strong plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Experience working on international projects or with global teams.
- A team player who is adaptable and eager to learn.

This position will be located in Madrid, with some flexibility for starting dates.
