About the role

We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join Funnel’s Education Services team in Stockholm. In this role, you will help us build, revise, and manage learning content. This includes content which lives within the Funnel Knowledge Base and within our learning management platform Funnel Academy. You will report to the Head of Education.

This role involves extensive writing, editing, and rewriting of articles, scripts and other types of content. Excellent writing skills are therefore mandatory.

The Education Services team is responsible for creating new learning content including certification courses, short-form learning videos and education-centered articles in collaboration with other teams including Product Development, Product Management, Customer Support and Solutions.

What you will do

• Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner requirements to build instructional content.

• Apply instructional design principles to create new learning content taking the form of short user-centric videos, certification courses and knowledge base articles.

• Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and interview them to confirm learning requirements and source content.

• Lead review sessions to ensure learning materials are vetted appropriately and that SME feedback is incorporated into final versions of learning materials.

• Write and rewrite articles for inclusion in the Knowledge Base and Funnel Academy.

• Create a governance framework for our customer-facing Knowledge Base to ensure that materials include a consistent voice, are of high quality, and are relevant to customer needs.

• Implement appropriate methods of content version control.

• Support and manage administrative activities on our learning experience platform.

Who you are

You have an excellent command of written and spoken English. Specifically, you demonstrate great proficiency as you write and rewrite articles and other types of content. In addition, your writing style is conversational, clear, and concise. Grounded in instructional design principles, you can break down complex technical content into easy-to-understand learning materials. You excel at interviewing subject matter experts to extract learning requirements and source content on various topics. Working and collaborating with different teams to create learning content comes naturally to you. Above all, you possess the ability to roll up your sleeves and dig deep into a problem to find the right solution.

Skills and experience

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role with at least 1-2 years working for a software/SaaS company

• Demonstrated ability to work with technical content.

• Proficiency in using learning content authoring tools, such as Articulate 360.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Outstanding review skills and an eye for detail.

• Experience in working with Learning Management Systems is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of digital marketing concepts and any related experience in the field is a plus.

This role is located in Stockholm. We value increased in-person collaboration, and as such, we work office-first, with some flexibility.
