Director, Product Marketing

Role Overview

We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing to lead a team of product marketing managers and ensure our products are positioned, launched, and adopted successfully in the market.
This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales, requiring a high-agency individual who can align go-to-market efforts with product and business goals.
As the leader of the Product Marketing function, you will own the strategy for positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning across Funnel’s portfolio of products. You will work closely with the VP of Product, other product directors, and marketing and sales leadership to drive alignment and amplify the success of our offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a compelling positioning of our different product areas, as well as in the wider Marketing Intelligence category

  • Set the messaging around our products' differentiated value proposition in a way that resonates with our target audiences

  • Plan and lead product and feature releases, collaborating with product management, marketing, and revenue teams to ensure successful adoption and business impact

  • Drive market research and customer feedback initiatives to understand needs, and the competitive landscape and ensure market relevance

  • Partner with product managers to align on product roadmaps and ensure seamless communication between teams

  • Work closely with the sales enablement team to equip the revenue teams with tools, training, and resources to position and sell Funnel’s products effectively

  • Lead and coach a high-performing team of product marketing managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, impact, and customer focus

We Believe You Have:

  • Proven track record of leading successful go-to-market strategies and launching products that customers love and that achieve significant business impact

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles in a high-growth environment

  • Experience leading and growing a high-performing team of product marketing managers

  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, compelling narratives

  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-informed approach to decision-making

  • Deep understanding of customer personas, market dynamics, and competitive analysis

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing and sales

  • A plus if you have experience in digital marketing or data analytics
