Our platform team is looking for a (Sr.) DevOPS Engineer. We look forward to meeting a new colleague, an engineer, who is passionate about modern cloud technologies and is able to actively use, integrate and operate them into a seamlessly and efficiently functional platform.

Our Team

Our team's mission is to lead the development of a platform for our brand new, fully managed, hosted, cloud-native product GoodData Cloud. The team is taking care of a plethora of internal services focused on deployment, authentication, and security for our SaaS platform hosted in our hybrid cloud. We are right in the center of the development and operations - we integrate and operate various technologies together in a functional product. We influence and contribute to all aspects of a SaaS product ranging from feature components and micro-services to platform infrastructure.

What will you do?

• Work with modern technologies (Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Terraform/Terragrunt)

• Work with various monitoring and logging tools (eg. Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, etc.)

• Work with version control systems (Github, Gitlab)

• Apply Infrastructure as a Code, GitOps, and Cloud-native principles

• Develop various automation to form functional SaaS products with high SLAs

• Contribute to the development of a brand new product with a focus on its cloud-hosted platform

• Work with a team of great people and professionals

• Work in agile, DevOps environment

About you

• At least 2 years of experience with software development/operations

• Knowledge of Kubernetes technology or similar container orchestration platforms

• Experience with any cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Experience with scripting languages

• Willing to learn (new technologies, principles, etc.)

• Willing to participate on 24x7 on-calls

• Good troubleshooting and communication skills

It is nice if you have

• Experience with operating production systems with high SLAs

• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Terraform/Terragrunt, ansible, puppet and similar tools
