Job Description

We are seeking an IT System Administrator to join our team, providing essential support to end-users and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure. This role involves resolving IT tickets, supporting daily operations, managing hardware and software, and maintaining security measures, such as endpoint patching and compliance, monitoring system performance, and ensuring adherence to defined processes. The role encompasses providing first-level technical support and managing knowledge resources, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support documents. Additionally, you will also be given opportunity to own a few technical areas end to end based on your interest area and company’s requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered.
  • 3 to 7 years of proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in supporting Endpoints (laptops and desktops), Windows 10/11 OS, Entra ID/Microsoft 365, Antivirus, etc.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and understanding of ticketing tools and ITSM processes.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Working knowledge of networking like TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of tools like O365/MS Teams, MS AVD, Intune will be added advantage.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve IT infrastructure issues effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in office applications, including MS Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Relevant certifications such as MS Certified, ITIL are advantageous.
  • This is an on-site role with some flexibility for remote work based on operational requirements.
  • Occasional after-hours support may be required to address critical incidents or system updates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience considered.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and understanding of ticketing tools and ITSM processes.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with video conferencing systems, collaboration tools, audio/video codecs, EPABX, MS Teams, and unified communication platforms will add advantage.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve IT infrastructure issues effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in office applications, including MS Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Relevant certifications such as MS Certified, ITIL are advantageous.
