The challenge
We're looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our Platform team.
The Platform team’s mission is to provide resilient, scalable, stable and secure platform services on which are use by our product teams and on which all of Juro’s application runs seamlessly.
As an Engineering lead at Juro and in this team you’ll architect, manage, maintain and progress the software development in the team whilst also managing the personal development and wellbeing of your direct reports. This means:
Fostering strong alignment within and across teams, ensuring smooth communication and knowledge sharing.
Breaking down projects, removing blockers, and driving work to ship impactful features quickly and efficiently.
Mentoring engineers, supporting their growth, and attracting top talent to the team.
Aligning technical efforts with business goals, prioritising effectively, and making critical technical decisions.
Building a collaborative and inclusive environment where challenges are addressed openly and constructively.
Staying updated on industry trends, proposing innovative ideas, and contributing to advancing the technical vision.

You’ve gained hands-on experience developing core product features using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
