Overview:

The Director of Revenue Business Systems will define and execute the systems strategy across the Revenue organization in collaboration with Revenue Operations, Marketing, Product & Finance. In this role, you will build and optimize our GTM systems team to support various departments and drive efficiency across the organization. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage system integrations, and ensure data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM Strategy:

  • Maintain the roadmap, its execution, and all process improvement initiatives across the Revenue organization (Sales, Support, Customer Success, Technical Services)
  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses in system architecture, anticipating vulnerabilities, and developing contingency plans
  • Actively groom the backlog and conduct sprint planning for business systems; balancing roadmap, break-fix, and end-user support

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the Revenue Business systems team, setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Foster a culture of internal customer-centricity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Build and manage a team that effectively supports the various applications including management of any third-party consultants.
  • Be a player-coach with dedicated time to working on key systems initiatives directly when needed

Data Management:

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and management of data to drive insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integration and data quality.
  • Implement data-driven insights to enhance internal & external customer experiences.
  • Benchmark company practices with best-in-class practices and processes to advise and protect organization's systems and data.

Manage Stakeholders:

  • Ability to collaborate well with a diverse group of stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives by translating the business and reporting requirements into actionable designs, plans and drive to successful implementation.
  • Work with internal stakeholders in Revenue Operations to assess requirements and propose technical solutions that meet the needs of the business supporting various departments: Sales, Sales Engineering Customer Success, Customer Support, Technical Services, Marketing, Finance, and IT
  • Comfortable breaking down complex systems to technical and non-technical staff members

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of Revenue Business systems team activities to facilitate resource and project planning.
  • Maintain proper documentation of systems configurations to enable the teams to provide effective production support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a relevant field. An advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience implementing CRM (e.g. Salesforce.com) and other sales/services systems.
  • 4+ years of experience leading a GTM systems or Business Systems team
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment that requires agility and flexibility
  • Experience in negotiating contracts, vendor agreements, managing consultants and 3rd party contractors
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-focused skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Aptitude for developing teams; influencing and galvanizing others to follow you toward a solution
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.

The annual base salary range for this position based in the United States is listed below. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Neo4j’s compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. Based on the factors above, Neo4j utilizes the full width of the range.

In addition to the range below, US employees are eligible for a stock option grant and certain roles are eligible for an annual bonus. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and certain leaves of absence.
