We are expanding internationally and are looking for a full-time Sales Director for the APAC region. This individual will be based out of our office in Singapore ideally, but other locations may be considered. This individual will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Sales Director, you are primarily responsible for managing a team of Regional Sales Managers and some Individual Contributors who are able to consistently achieve quota

  • We expect you to develop a best-in-class sales organization and team

  • You will not be afraid to assist in sales cycles and interact with customers and prospects

  • You are growth minded, big challenges are exciting to you

  • You will be an expert in sale methodology, planning, pipeline management and recruiting and motivating reps

  • You will be a culture carrier. You will understand and promote the values that have made OTA Insight a long term success

  • Be a motivator, and ensure that reps have a clear understanding of our vision, mission, and values. In turn, making sure they exhibit them as they work with prospects and customers

  • Develop a strategic plan for the Region which allows for planning over the next 24 months (updated quarterly)

  • Work with our in-house talent acquisition manager and HR Business Partner to recruit, hire, and train new team members

  • Focus on employee development initiatives that promote individual success and long term retention

  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers to improve day-to-day sales processes, including territory management, customer management, and opportunity management

  • Develop regional strategies to improve product mix balance and increase ARPU

  • Measure and manage key business KPIs and ensure that reps are able to clearly understand the definition of success

  • Focus on weekly one-on-ones that help regional managers in all areas of sales success and personal growth

  • Run weekly forecast calls that allow for an accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecast

  • Work closely with sales operations and the sales enablement manager to identify slow ramping or low performing reps in order to develop individual plans and improve performance

  • Be able to effectively and objectively implement performance improvement plans and ensure that reps have a clear understanding of their performance

  • Work closely with field marketing and corporate marketing to ensure strong communication and collaboration between the two teams to maximize the performance of the lead funnel

  • Work in other lines of business to ensure the long term success of our customers, maintaining a high retention rate

  • Have a succession plan

Requirements:

  • At least 5 - 8 years as a sales management experience, preferably with experience managing managers

  • Leadership skills that motivate sales representative to go the extra mile for you

  • Successful track record of achieving quota as a sales representative

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong overall business and people skills, including planning, presentation skills, sales skills

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to teach, coach, mentor and motivate individual reps and with others in the company

  • Selling to the hospitality industry is a strong plus
