About the role:

\n

You will provide effective support to the legal counsels in charge of the Corporate and Commercial Legal affairs.

\n

In particular, you will:

\n
    \n
  • Draft, review and negotiate, under the supervision of a legal counsel, a broad range of commercial contracts with a primary focus on supplier and pharma agreements
    • \n
  • Draft, review and negotiate NDAs in full autonomy
    • \n
  • Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Procurement, Marketing, Finance) on contracts and specific issues (contract interpretation and/or explanation, definition and implementation of processes, etc.)
    • \n
  • Support the legal team on corporate matters (Governance, Group-level agreements, Corporate structuring)
    • \n
  • Support the legal team in fundraising and M&A projects from inception to post-closing with the Corporate Development team and other internal stakeholders: due diligence, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, signing and closing, post-closing follow up, etc.
    • \n

  • Support in our compliance activities
    • \n
  • Regularly contribute to and refine Owkin’s templates, policies and processes
    • \n
  • Maintain and update a template and clauses library
    • \n
\n

Position is based in our Paris office.

About you

Required qualifications / experience:

\n
\n
    \n
  • Masters in Life Sciences and/or Business Law and/or dual degree Business School/Business Law program (whether on-going or completed);
    • \n
  • Fluent english (Oxford: C1); Fluent or native french ;
    • \n
  • Autonomy, rigor, intellectual curiosity, team spirit, initiative;
    • \n
  • Writing skills ;
    • \n
  • Previous legal internship in a law firm or in a tech or healthcare environment.
    • \n
\n

Preferred qualifications/bonus:

  • Double degree / LLM ;
    • \n
  • Bar admission.
