About the role:
The Product Manager will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our technical and commercial teams. You will be the linchpin between our cutting-edge AI technology and real-world medical applications. You'll drive the development of AI-powered medical devices from conception to market launch, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed both technical standards and user expectations.
In particular, you will:
- Product Development
- Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Transform complex user needs and market insights into actionable product requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch
- Ensure product development is aligned with internal processes (Quality Management System)
- Technical Leadership
- Collaborate closely with AI researchers and engineers to translate AI capabilities into practical medical applications
- Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and regulatory compliance
- Spearhead alpha and beta testing phases, setting clear success criteria and analyzing results
- Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and the commercial product team
- Articulate product vision and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Market Intelligence and Customer Engagement
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI, digital pathology, and regulatory landscapes
- Engage directly with pathologists and healthcare providers to understand their workflows and pain points
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all products meet FDA, CE Mark, and other relevant regulatory standards
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to navigate the complex landscape of medical device approvals
Position is based in our Paris or London offices.
About you
Required qualifications / experience:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a biomedical field;
- Experience in the healthcare, medical devices, or AI industries is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing complex product development projects from concept to launch.
- Strong understanding of clinical research, regulatory requirements, and healthcare market dynamics.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and contribute to engineering discussions.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear technical requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices (e.g., FDA, CE Mark) is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years experience on similar roles is expectedS
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with AI and machine learning in the context of medical diagnostics.
- Knowledge of digital pathology and its integration into clinical workflows.
