About us
Owkin is building the first universal AI Operating System called K to lay the foundation for Biological Artificial Superintelligence (BASI). This OS integrates a suite of AI agents that decode complex biology, accelerate research, and dramatically increase productivity. Acting as copilots, Owkin K agents will automate drug discovery and diagnostics and power next-gen pharma companies.
Owkin’s OS will be powered by the world’s largest federated multimodal patient data network, a robotized lab, leading AGI technologies, and cutting-edge multimodal foundation models and LLMs.
About the role:
As an AP Accountant, reporting to the account’s payable manager, you will be part of a dynamic environment. you will play a crucial role in our finance team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all company expenses.
In particular, you will:
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents;
- Handle exceptions and discrepancies identified by the OCR system (Pivot);
- Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses within NetSuite;
- Prepare and process payment batches, or manual payments if necessary;
- Reconcile vendor statements and handle vendor inquiries;
- Review and validate expenses submitted through the travel expense system (NAVAN);
- Monitoring synchronization between Navan and NetSuite for accurate financial data;
- Prepare account analyses and reconciliations;
- Assist with external audits as needed;
- Participate in improving current (and new) processes and tools;
Position is based in our Paris office.
About you
- Degree with focus in Finance/Accounting with a first experience in a similar role;
- Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally;
- Ability to work in scale up, high speed, fast moving environments;
- Comfortable with IT tools in general;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Gsheet;
- Previous experience working with ERP Netsuite would be a plus;
- A minimum of intermediate level in written and spoken English;
- Rigorous, organized, analytical skills, able to meet deadlines, strong team spirit, dynamism, service orientation, attention to detail and discretion;
- Flexibility and ease of working in a constantly changing environment, ability to adapt to emergencies;
