ScyllaDB Technical Support Engineers use their exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills, to assist customers and solve their Scylla issues.

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer based preferably in Poland or Israel.

Cool things you'll do:

  • You'll be working alongside our largest customers, solving their complex issues - resolving questions on architecture, recovery, security, performance, and everything in between.
  • You'll be an expert resource on best practices in running Scylla at scale, whatever that scale may be.
  • You'll be an advocate for our customers' needs - interfacing with our product management and development teams on their behalf.
  • You will also help build the Knowledge Base around Scylla.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a Technical Support Engineer position
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise customers in a customer-facing support role.
  • Experience with Linux environments
  • Lifelong learner and capable of multitasking during high-pressure situations.
  • Naturally curious and excited to learn new technologies.
  • Experience with Distributed Systems (Database / Storage)
  • Experience with Docker (Linux)
  • Experience with Cloud providers (AWS/GCP)
  • Strong English communications skills - written and verbal
  • Autonomous and self-motivated

Nice to have:

  • Experience with NoSQL DBs (Datastax, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, etc)
  • Public Cloud Certifications (AWS, GCP, etc)
  • Experience with git repos
  • Knowledge in K8S
  • Experience with Azure
  • Bachelor's degree in technology fields (Computer Science, Engineering)
