Technical Support Specialist - France

As part of the Engineering Department, you will be joining the Technical Support team focusing mainly on support tasks and in maintaining the bug tracking board and processes. Today, the team is responsible for helping & supporting customers and Spendeskers anytime they encounter a technical issue with our product. Thus, knowledge of the product is adamant to the success of this endeavor. The mission will also include the development and maintenance of internal documentation and tools.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a bridge between the Customer facing teams and the Tech teams.
  • Be the reference point and contact for all technical matters.
  • Be responsible for reporting bugs reported by customers and internal teams to the developers.
  • Following up with developers for updates and communicating with the teams.
  • Build automation and process optimization of time-consuming tasks for the engineering and care teams.
  • Build and maintain internal documentation (processes, technical knowledge, etc.)

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience in Technical Support or similar
  • Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
  • Can understand basic code in languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL (the ability to code is not required, but would be advantageous to your application)
  • Have a technical mindset (Computer Science degree, or equivalent degree and/or experience)
  • Team player, ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Curious and quick learner, have the ability to absorb lots of new information in a fast-growing environment.
  • Demonstrate a positive mindset and proactive personality
  • Proficiency in verbal and written French and English
  • Experience using Jira would be beneficial
  • Knowledge and/or experience in API support would be beneficial
