As part of the FP&A team, you will have the opportunity to support the finance department and hold a key position within the company by managing reporting, budgeting and controlling processes. At Spendesk the FP&A function is fully centralised. You will have the view of the complete P&L from Revenue generation metrics to net result, and subsequent impact on our cash positions.
You will work with the finance team and the operational teams of Spendesk and report directly to the FP&A manager.
The list below is not exhaustive and will change depending on the development of the company and your ability to manage the position
Working closely with our FP&A Manager you will :
Lead and coordinate the monthly financial closing / reporting process
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure transmission of robust and harmonized monthly financial reporting
- Actively participate into the preparation of the monthly financial packages, to be shared with the ELT and the shareholders
- Coordinate and continuously improve the monthly reporting processes (e.g. fast close, automation, additional analyses)
Lead and coordinate the quarterly and yearly financial closing
- Actively participate into the preparation of the quarterly and yearly financial closing
- Ensure a proper reconciliation between accounting and reporting
- Analyse the company performance and help teams to define priorities
Lead the budget and the reforecast processes
- Define the budget planning and timeline
- Make sure every stakeholder has access to the right data
- Communicate the outputs internally and externally
- Support to business teams and country managers on the construction
Keep on improving the financial performance and be a key business partner to help drive the business
- Perform gap analysis vs. budget / reforecasts, and recommendations to the business executives
- Realize ad-hoc strategic analyses in coordination with the company executives
- Maintain and update the analytical accounting structure to make it relevant and efficient

Who we are looking for:

  • Up to 4 years of experience in FP&A, Transaction Services, Controlling or Consulting
  • You are very organized and have the capacity to prioritize tasks and get things done,
  • You have great communication skills and good written & oral presentation,
  • You have a great adaptability skills to work in a constantly evolving and fast paced environment,
  • You are a self-starter, fast learner and impact driven
  • You have an analytical mind and run analysis to understand financial data,
  • Previous experience with a reporting tool is a plus,
  • Tech company experience is not a must but would be a plus,
  • You are fluent in English (French or German is a plus).
